With the Olympics opening ceremony only days away, we thoroughly enjoyed celebrating the upcoming sporting event with our very own Olympics Week at the Lighthouse! From activities to challenges, competitions to fun facts and delicious food, it was great to see everybody getting involved and learning along the way.
Several students had fun entering the ‘Build the Tallest Tower’ competition as part of our Olympic week. Inspired by the Eiffel Tower, students competed to build the tallest self-supporting tower out of only 10 Marshmallows and 100 spaghetti sticks. Congratulations to all our medal winners!
Did you know that this years Olympic medals were made using parts of the Eiffel Tower?
