Here at Breakthrough College we are passionate about seeing young people succeed where they haven’t been able to in the past. We warmly welcome each young person as an individual and meet them where they are at.   

We provide education, therapeutic support and a nurturing environment for children and young people with communication and interaction needs; social, emotional and mental health needs; complex diagnoses; learning difficulties; as well as trauma-based needs and other challenges, providing a bespoke and personalised curriculum and timetable designed around the needs of the individual. 

We understand that finding and accessing the right provision can take time but we welcome the opportunity to discuss options with you. It is expected that the child or young person will have an EHCP (Educational Health Care Plan) in place. We are then able to take referrals via three different routes:

• The Local Authority SEND Team 

• Student’s current on-roll school

• Careers and Enterprise Hubs
