We have been enjoying a Week of Thanksgiving at Lighthouse, based on our enjoyment of food and awareness of global food issues. We have enjoyed a range of quizzes, activities and discussions throughout the week that have really got everyone thinking. We created a tree of thanks with staff and students contributing ‘leaves’ of things they are thankful for. And from Guess the Spice to learning how to say thank you in a range of languages, the games have kept everyone entertained and informed. Even Gloria got involved!

Yesterday saw everyone coming together on Thanksgiving to share ‘Stone Soup’, based on the European folk story. Each person had to take a turn serving someone else which we all enjoyed!
