As with most educational establishments, we put together a program of extra-curricular activities at the end of the summer term. Not only is it a fun end to the academic year and a great way of changing the focus after so much exam pressure, the different enrichment activities on offer aim to build confidence, social skills and independence too.
This year, students have enjoyed a range of different outings and activities. Here’s a showcase of some of them:

A Wimbledon-themed orienteering course at Brocks Farm. Every inch of the site was scoured for clues, with the obligatory strawberries and cream at the end as a reward.

The weather was kind to us for our music afternoon, where students and staff showcased their talents. It made for wonderful listening.

Students got a lot out of visiting Exmoor Zoological and Conservation Centre. It was wonderful to see so many different animals up close.

And who doesn’t enjoy a round of crazy golf!
