This week is National Apprenticeship Week, a week-long celebration that brings together businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy. We’ve had several of our students move on to apprenticeships over the years and we know how valuable they can be.
National Apprenticeship Week encourages everyone to consider and celebrate how apprenticeships and skills help individuals develop rewarding careers, by increasing confidence, skillsets and knowledge. Many of our students have progressed on to some incredible careers following their apprenticeships so we’re big fans here at Breakthrough.
We regularly flag up apprenticeship opportunities with students in a wide range of industries, and work alongside them to support them with applications, interviews, training and first steps. Seeing students succeed with this is hugely rewarding.
