Exam season is drawing to a close, and for one of our Brocks students the end of exams was marked with a celebratory visit to Paignton Zoo.
A trip to the zoo is both fascinating and fun, and this was no exception. The animal and plant collections there are fantastic living examples that can enable a better understanding of the structure, function and behaviour of various animals. We found out about the conservation status of the different animals within the zoo, and were also lucky enough to see their Socorro doves, which are classified as extinct in the wild.
