This Wednesday saw us taking a group of students to the University of Plymouth to attend their Open Day. It was a brilliant day – from exploring the city campus, to talking to possible future lecturers, the Open Day gave us a real flavour of what life is like at the University of Plymouth.
We travelled in together and then went our separate ways once we were there in order for each student to fully explore the courses that most interested them. Each student was accompanied by a member of staff as always.
From Robotics to Creative Media, Geology to Criminology – we were able to get a feel for what was involved and for our students to imagine themselves there. It was great to be able to speak individually to their team and find out what additional support was available too.
