Visit to Plymouth University

Visit to Plymouth University

Earlier this month, two of our students enjoyed a personalised tour of the Psychology Department at the University of Plymouth with their teacher. This was a wonderful opportunity for the students involved to get an insight into university life and what’s on offer without having to endure the overwhelm of an Open Day.

As one of the students said:

“Plymouth University gave a warm and friendly welcome. Students and a lecturer provided helpful information and answered all of our group’s questions. They provided a full tour of the university and gave us various leaflets. A couple of students even took the time to have lunch with us and talked about their experiences. The visit confirmed to me that the University of Plymouth would be a good choice.”

The other student added:

“I was surprised by the sheer scope of possibilities at the university. The student ambassador was very informative, which I was surprised at because they informed us they’d only been there a year. Me and the people I was there with managed to tour a solid majority of the campus in a very efficient way. Then, we got the opportunity to meet one of the psychology lecturers for an admittedly brief period of time but we were very grateful and once again they were also very informative. In regards to the campus, it was very friendly and inviting.”

Our thanks go to the University of Plymouth for being so welcoming and helpful to our students.
